The documentary film Indigenous Prophecy Today is a universal call for humanity to change its relationship with the earth and with indigenous cultures. Alaskan author, filmmaker and producer Susan Stark Christianson documented important stories that have traditionally guided indigenous and aboriginal cultures. Compelling interviews with Tlingit, Amara, Hopi, Shinto, Mayan, and other elders and culture bearers from Alaska, Australia, Japan, Central and South America and tribes across the United States document creation stories, prophecies and warnings given to humanity and call people to find ways to live with greater respect for the earth and for each other.
The elders interviewed shared what they believe is important to preserve from their cultures and how their cultural teachings offer solutions to many problems in today’s world. The film challenges viewers to value indigenous wisdom, spirituality and cultural knowledge and offers inspiration, hope and insights for our collective healing today.
The aboriginal and indigenous peoples of the earth have an important role in establishing peace. Understanding the spirituality inherent in their cultures and embracing their connection to Mother Earth is crucial for us all.
There is so much to share about this journey. These photos are from the oldest verified petroglyph in the world near Turraburra. You can see the handprints and the holes and stars telling the Seven Sisters story. We were given permission from the YACHATDAC Aboriginal Corporation to share these photos.
At our campsite by the river near Cloncurry - on the road to Uluru - we saw two eagle nests, a variety of birds, and a scar tree that were used to mark territory and sacred spaces.
This interview with Suzanne Thompson talks about what is on one of the world's oldest known petroglyphs that remains on her traditional Turraburra Country in Australia. This amazing story wall we will be allowed to film on our upcoming journey tells the story of the Seven Sisters and much more. We have waited more than two years during the COVID lockdown for the opportunity to share this important Creation story in our upcoming documentary "Indigenous Prophecy Today."

Megan Ricciardi grew up in California where she earned a degree in Anthropology and East Asian Religion. After graduating she began traveling and spent many nights camping out under the stars where the idea for her children's book, Moon Dream, came into her head. Years later she settled into an ecovillage in Australia where she met Anna, Ceel, and Michael who helped bring the book to life. She currently teaches people, mostly women and children, how to build dome homes, empowering them to become self-sufficient. Here are links to the book and domes if you want to include them, but not necessary. https://beyondbeinghuman.org/moon-dream-book https://www.artofdomes.com
